Geoff Roberts, SEEK Group Chief Financial Officer, gives notice of retirement

SEEK Limited ( SEEK ) announces that Geoff Roberts will be retiring from his role as Group Chief Financial Officer ( CFO ) effective from 30 June 2021.

Geoff joined SEEK in October 2015 as Group CFO. During this time, he has also been on the Board and Audit Committee Chair of Zhaopin Limited and Online Education Services, two major businesses within the SEEK Investments portfolio.

SEEK Group CEO and Co-founder, Andrew Bassat, said: “ Geoff is a very important member of the Executive team. Under his leadership, the Finance team has supported strong growth in our business across all geographies, and our expansion across the investment themes of online education, HR SaaS and contingent labour. When he retires, he does so knowing that SEEK is in a much stronger position and that he has played a very significant role in contributing to this. On a personal level, Geoff’s decency and integrity have made him very well liked across the company. As he transitions to retirement from executive CFO roles, I congratulate him on everything he has achieved both at SEEK and more broadly during his career. He will be missed when he finishes up at the end of the financial year. ”

Reflecting upon his time at SEEK and his decision to retire, Geoff Roberts, said, “ I have thoroughly enjoyed the last five years at SEEK and the opportunity to have been a part of the significant growth achieved by the business. Working with a team of exceptional people who are collectively committed to SEEK’s purpose to improve people’s working lives has been a great privilege. I would like to thank Andrew Bassat and the Executive Team, Graham Goldsmith and the Board, my Finance team and everyone at SEEK for their tremendous support. I have loved the opportunity to work with great people and I will retire from SEEK and my executive career with great pride and many fond memories. ”

SEEK has commenced a search process to identify a new CFO and will update the market once that process has concluded.
