SEEK appoints Group Strategy Director

SEEK is delighted to announce the promotion of Michael Ilczynski to the role of Group Strategy Director.

In his prior role of Strategy Director for SEEK Education, Michael played an instrumental role in expanding SEEK’s Education offering which now includes SEEK Learning and the THINK Education Group. He lead strategy and corporate development in the area of Education and Training and was instrumental in executing appropriate acquisition, investment and alliance opportunities. Michael is also a Director of IDP Education and Swinburne Online (both 50% owned by SEEK) and SEEK subsidiary THINK Education group.

His commitment to Education and his drive to develop and cement SEEK’s position as a major education supplier has seen the company offering in Education expand rapidly during his time at the helm. During his time at SEEK Michael has shown excellent strategic capability and has already made a significant contribution to SEEK’s corporate strategy,” says SEEK CEO Andrew Bassat.

Michael’s role will now include strategy for the core domestic employment business, in addition to education. He will also continue as part of the SEEK Executive Team.
