[Essen, 22 April 2008] secunet Security Networks AG (ISIN DE0007276503) has
significantly improved both sales and profits before interest and tax
(EBIT) in the first quarter of 2008 in comparison with the previous year
and has thus made an excellent start to 2008. Sales in the period from
January to March 2008 amounted to € 10.3m, which represents an increase in
comparison with the previous year of 27%. The EBIT figure for the first
quarter increased to € 0.4m, which represents over a four-fold increase in
comparison with the same period last year. secunet will be publishing its
complete quarterly report on the 8 May 2008.
