Change in the number of shares outstanding in Sectra during August

As at August 31, 2012, the number of shares in Sectra AB (NASDAQ OMX Stockholm: SECT B) amounts to 37,094,978, of which 2,620,692 Series A shares and 34,474,286 SeriesB shares. This entails a decrease of 37,094,987 in the number of sharesoutstanding in August, of which 2,620,692 SeriesA redemption shares and 34,474,286 SeriesB redemption shares.

The change is attributable to the 2:1 split resolution with mandatory redemption, which was resolved at Sectra's Annual General Meeting on June 28, 2012. Through this redemption procedure, SEK 5.00 per share totaling approximately SEK 185 million has been transferred to Sectra's shareholders.
