SECO posts all-time monthly order intake record: over €31M new orders received in May
Arezzo, June 6, 2022 – SECO (the "Company") announces its all-time record of monthly order intake: in May, new orders generated in the month hit a level of over €31M. Such amount further increases the order backlog value which amounted to €164M as of April 30, 2022, as previously announced on May 12.
Orders received from new customers and from existing ones contributed to this result. A strong demand is noted in the vertical markets in which the Company operates. In comparison to the previous year there was an acceleration in order intake in the EMEA, APAC and USA regions.
"The record level of order intake reached in May contributes to further increase the visibility on our business. We continue to support our customers in their digital transformation process. We are only at the beginning of a huge industrial revolution, where technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, IoT and 5G will enable new business models: the yet unexpressed potential of our market is enormous", said Massimo Mauri, SECO CEO.
