Sevan Drilling Ltd: Changes to the Board of Directors

Hamilton, Bermuda, July 18, 2017 - Sevan Drilling Limited ("the Company")

announces today that Ms. Ragnhild Wiborg has resigned as Director of the Company

and Mr. Douglas Smith has been appointed as Director and Audit Committee

Chairman with effect from July 17, 2017.

Ms. Wiborg has decided to resign due to new responsibilities in other company's

boards.

Mr. Smith has extensive offshore drilling and finance experience and most

recently served as the Chief Financial Officer of Vantage Drilling for 9 years,

including through their restructuring process. Mr. Smith holds bachelor of

business administration and masters of public accountancy degrees from The

University of Texas at Austin and is a Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Smith

resides in the USA.

The Board of Sevan Drilling expresses their appreciation to Ms. Wiborg for her

contributions since joining the Board in 2014 and welcomes Mr. Smith to the

Board.
