CORRECTION RE DEALINGs BY DIRECTORs

The following amendments have been made to the 'Dealing by Director' announcements released on 12 December 2012 at 12.43pm under RNS No 3709T and on 12 December 2012 at 4.32pm under RNS No 4049T.

In both cases the directors concerned purchased shares in the Company on 12 December 2012 and not on 11 December 2012 as previously stated.  All other details remain unchanged.

DEALING BY DIRECTOR

SDI, the AIM quoted group focused on the application of digital imaging technology to the needs of the scientific community, was notified today that  Ken Ford, Chairman of the Company, purchased 100,000 ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company on 12 December 2012 at 11p per share.  Following this transaction Ken Ford holds a total of 275,000 shares which represents approximately 1.42% of the Company's issued ordinary share capital.

SDI, the AIM quoted group focused on the application of digital imaging technology to the needs of the scientific community, was notified today that  Ann Simon, non-executive director of the Company, purchased 8,348 ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company on 12 December 2012 at 14.75p per share.  Following this transaction Ann Simon holds a total of 8,348 shares which represents approximately 0.04% of the Company's issued ordinary share capital.
