Schroder Asian Total Return Investment Company plc (the "Company") announces that, as at 31 July 2020, its issued share capital consists of 97,895,159 ordinary shares of 5 pence each, which includes 180,508 ordinary shares held in treasury. Treasury shares do not carry voting rights, therefore the total number of voting rights in the Company as at 31 July 2020 is 97,714,651.

The above figure of 97,741,651 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
