Voting Rights and Capital

In accordance with the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rule 5.6.1, Schroder Asian Total Return Investment Company plc (the "Company") announces that its issued share capital consists of 83,037,055 ordinary shares of 5p with each share carrying the right to one vote.  An additional 2,167,757 ordinary shares are held in treasury.  Accordingly, the total number of voting rights in the Company is 83,037,055.

The above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
