Retirement of Director

Asian Total Return Investment Company plc (the "Company") announces that as part of the planned refreshment of the Board, Mr Hugh Aldous has retired as a Director of the Company with effect from 22 October 2014.

The Board would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr Aldous for his invaluable contribution to the Company during his tenure as a Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee of nearly 11 years.
