Asian Total Return Investment Company plc (the "Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Caroline Hitch as a non-executive Director of the Company, with effect from 26 February 2015.

Ms Hitch isHead of Wealth Portfolio Management (Retail) at HSBC Global Asset Management (UK) Ltd and is responsible for multi asset portfolios including HSBC's flagship retail World Selection range. Prior to this, she held several different investment roles including managing institutional global fixed income portfolios.  Most of her career has been with the HSBC Group and she has worked in various locations including Jersey and Hong Kong. 

It is confirmed that there are no other details to be disclosed concerning Ms Hitch under Listing Rule 9.6.13 R.
