The mandate of Jean-Pascal Tricoire has been renewed

Rueil-Malmaison (France), April 27, 2009 – The Supervisory Board, meeting on April 23, 2009, noted the expiry of the Management Board's mandate on May 2, 2009. In consequence, it has reelected Mr Jean-Pascal Tricoire as Chairman of the Management Board and appointed Mr Emmanuel Babeau as a Member of the Management Board in replacement of Mr Pierre Bouchut who has decided to leave the Group.

The Supervisory Board paid tribute to the contribution of Mr Bouchut to the development the Group and more particularly to the work he undertook in bringing his Financial Department up to a very high performance level.

The Supervisory Board has also reviewed the composition of its Committees following the departure of Mr Piero Sierra, whose mandate could not be renewed due to the statutory age limit. It paid tribute to Mr Sierra for his contribution to the Board's works and to the Group's development. It has appointed Mr Noël Forgeard as Member of the Audit Committee and Mr Serge Weinberg, Vice Chairman of the Supervisory Board, as Member of the Remunerations and Appointments & Corporate Governance Committee.

As a result, the Audit Committee is now composed of: Mr Gérard de La Martinière, Chairman, and Messrs Noël Forgeard, Jérôme Gallot and James Ross. The Remunerations and Appointments & Corporate Governance Committee is now composed of: Mr Henri Lachmann, Chairman, and Messrs Serge Weinberg, Léo Apotheker, Claude Bébéar and Willy Kissling.
