WESTFIELD TRUST COMPLETES $200 MILLION EQUITY RAISING
Westfield Trust today completed a $200 million issue of ordinary units at a price of $3.30 with distribution entitlements from 1 July 2003.
The issue was underwritten by Deutsche Bank.
The proceeds of the issue will be used to retire existing debt facilities. As a result, the Trust's gearing will decrease from approximately 32% to approximately 30%.
As previously announced, distribution per unit is expected to increase by approximately 3% during 2003.

Quotation agreement
- $\mathbf{1}$ *Quotation of our additional *securities is in ASX's absolute discretion. ASX may quote the *securities on any conditions it decides.

- An offer of the "securities for sale within 12 months after their issue will not require disclosure under section $707(3)$ or section $1012C(6)$ of the Corporations Act.
