Disclosure of significant shareholding in Scatec Solar ASA

Equinor ASA ("Equinor") acquired 11,020,000 shares in Scatec Solar ASA on 15 November 2018.

Following the transactions, Equinor holds 11,020,000 shares in Scatec Solar ASA, corresponding to 9.72 percent of the shares and votes in Scatec Solar ASA. In addition, funds managed by Equinor Asset Management ASA hold 67,725 shares in Scatec Solar ASA, corresponding to 0.06 percent of the shares and votes in Scatec Solar ASA, Equinor Insurance AS, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Equinor, holds 53,216 shares in Scatec Solar ASA, corresponding to 0.05 percent of the shares and votes in Scatec Solar ASA, and Equinor Pensjon, a pension fund established for the benefit of employees in Equinor, holds 207,914 shares in Scatec Solar ASA, corresponding to 0.18 percent of the shares and votes in Scatec Solar ASA.

Following the transaction, the combined shareholding of Equinor, funds managed by Equinor Asset Management ASA, Equinor Insurance AS and Equinor Pensjon is 11,348,855 shares in Scatec Solar ASA, corresponding to 10.01 percent of the shares and votes in Scatec Solar ASA.

Neither Equinor, funds managed by Equinor Asset Management ASA, Equinor Insurance AS nor Equinor Pensjon hold any rights to shares in Scatec Solar ASA.
