SAVILLS ANNOUNCES NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR APPOINTMENT

Savills plc, the international real estate advisor, is pleased to announce the appointment of Liz Hewitt as an Independent Non-Executive Director with effect from 24 June 2014.

Liz is a non-executive director of Melrose Industries Plc, Novo Nordisk A/S and Synergy Health Plc.

Liz is a chartered accountant and was Group Director, Corporate Affairs Smith & Nephew Plc between 2004 and 2011. Prior to 2004 Liz was a director of 3i Group Plc, having spent her early career with Gartmore, CVC and latterly 3i as a private equity investor. 

There is no further information which would require disclosure under 9.6.13R of the Listing Rules of the UK Listing Authority.

Commenting on the appointment, Peter Smith, Chairman of Savills plc said: "We are delighted that Liz is joining the Board and that Savills will benefit from her extensive experience."
