Saudi Ceramic Company announces its interim financial results for the period ended 31 March 2012(three months).

Saudi Ceramic Company announces its interim financial results for the period ended 31 March 2012.

1- The net profit for the first quarter amounted to SAR63 million an increase of 5% compared to the same period last year (SAR 60 million) and an increase of 19% compared to the previous quarter SAR53million.

2-The gross profit for the first quarter amounted to SAR 113 million an increase of 1% compared to the same period last year SAR112 million.

3-The operating profit for the first quarter amounted to SAR 62 million a decrease of 5% compared to the same period last year SAR65 million.

4-The earnings per share (EPS) for three months amounted to SAR 2.5 compared to same period last year SAR 2.4.

5- The reason for the positive results is due to the companys growing production capacity and sales in this quarter compared to the same period last year & the previous quarter as well.
