Addendum announcement from Saudi Arabian Mining Company related to THE INTERIM FINANCIAL RESULTS FOR THE PERIOD ENDING ON 30-06-2014 (SIX MONTHS)

Further to the Companys announcement on Tadawul on 18/09/1435H (corresponding to 15/07/2014G), Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Maaden) announces that:

Reasons of increase for quarter compared with same quarter last year in addition to what was mentioned earlier was Also due to the increase in other income and decrease in Exploration expenses despite the increase in cost of sales and selling and marketing expenses due to higher quantities sold, in addition to the increase in general and administrative expenses and financial charges.

Reasons of increase for period compared with same period last year in addition to what was mentioned earlier was Also due to the increase in other income and decrease in the zakat provision for the period despite the increase in cost of sales and selling and marketing expenses as a result of the higher quantities sold, in addition to the increase in general and administrative expenses and financial charges.

Reasons of increase for quarter compared with previous quarter in addition to what was mentioned earlier was Also due to the increase in other income despite the increase in cost of sales and selling and marketing expenses due to higher quantities sold, in addition to the increase in general and administrative expenses and financial charges and provision for zakat
