SAUDI ARABIAN MINING COMPANY (MAADEN) ANNOUNCES THE RESIGNATION OF BOARD MEMBER

Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Maaden) announces that one of its Board Member, Mr. Soliman Bin Saad Al Humyyed (Independent) has submitted his resignation on Sunday 17/02/1436H (corresponding to 09/12/2014G) from his position as an independent director of Maaden Board of Directors with an immediate effect, due to his recent appointment as the Minister of Social Affairs.

Maaden wishes His Excellency every success in his new role.

According to the Companys Article of Association, the Board of Directors has the right to fill the vacancy by temporary assignment of a new member, provided that such assignment must be endorsed at the first scheduled meeting of the Ordinary General Assembly from the date of such assignment and the newly assigned member is required to complete the period of his predecessor.
