The Board at its meeting held on 20[th] March, 2020 had, based on recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, approved the co-option of Ms. Madhu Khatri as an Additional Director in the category of Woman Independent Director and authorized Chairman and Managing Director of the Company to finalize the effective date of appointment in consultation with the Appointee. Accordingly, Chairman and Managing Director confirmed her co-option effective today i.e. March 27, 2020.

Brief profile of Ms. Madhu Khatri:

Ms. Madhu Khatri is a seasoned C- Suite executive with over 30 years of global experience working with multinational companies as a trusted advisor to corporate leaders on risk mitigation, compliance, reputation management, business strategy, mergers & acquisitions and complex legal & policy issues. In the course of these 30 years, she has been the Associate General Counsel of Microsoft and the General Counsel of Wipro. Her experience includes being legal counsel at GE Health Care South Asia, advisory work at PWC & Arthur Andersen and extensive litigation experience in tax courts and the Supreme Court of India.

She graduated from Lady Shri Ram College with a B.A in Political Science (Hons), a Bachelors in law (LL.B) from Delhi University and a Masters in Law ( LL.M) from Columbia University.
