Chief Executive Officer Succession
Hod Hasharon (Israel), 11 May 2026 – Singapore Exchange Mainboard and Tel Aviv Exchange listed Sarine Technologies Ltd (“Sarine” and along with its subsidiaries “the Group”) (U77:SI; SARN.TA), a worldwide leader in the development, marketing and sale of precision technology solutions for the evaluation, planning, processing, measurement, grading and trading of diamonds and gems, is pleased to announce that it has appointed Mr. Tzafrir Engelhard as Chief Executive Officer, effective 1 July 2026, following Mr. David Block’s decision to step down.
Mr. Engelhard has been with Sarine for close to 20 years and has held a wide range of leadership, business development and operational roles across the organisation. For the past 9 years he has served as the Group’s Vice President of Business Development, where he was responsible for developing new business lines and strategic collaborations. Mr. Engelhard also served as the Managing Director of the Group’s Indian subsidiary, overseeing the Group’s operations and business activities in India. Earlier in his tenure with the Group, he served as a Product Manager responsible for several of the Group’s products. Mr. Engelhard brings to the job extensive understanding of the industry, across the entire value chain, particularly the midstream and downstream segments, broad experience and, no less importantly, an intimate knowledge of the Group, its values, our personnel, customers and stakeholders.
Mr. Daniel Glinert, the Group’s Executive Chairman of the Board, commented, "We, members of the Board of Directors, deemed it best to select our next leader from within the Group’s ranks for a number of reasons – not the least of which being the very unique industry in which we operate. Happily, we had a number of qualified VPs from amongst whom to choose. The process also entailed hearing the candidates’ opinions and integrating them into the selection process. Thus, the selection reached is actually one of a broad consensus. We have complete confidence in Tzafrir’s capabilities, and the Board will support him to the utmost to ensure continuity, stability and long-term growth."
