Re. Pillar 2 (P2G) add-on imposed by thePolish Financial Supervision Authority

The Management Board of Santander BankPolska S.A. (_quot;Bank_quot;) hereby advises that on 27 December 2022 it receiveda letter from the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (_quot;KNF_quot;) with arecommendation on mitigating the risk of the Bank's operations bymaintaining own funds to cover a capital add-on in order to absorbpotential losses that may arise from stress conditions; the add-onshould be maintained at 0.26 p.p. at the non-consolidated level and 0.23p.p. at the consolidated level, above the total capital ratio referredto in Article 92 (1)(c) of Resolution no. 575/2013, increased by theadditional own funds requirement referred to in Article 138 (2)(2) ofthe Banking Law Act and the combined buffer requirement referred to inArticle 55 (4) of the Macroprudential Supervision Act. The add-on shouldconsist in full of Common Equity Tier 1 capital.
