VOLUNTARY ANNOUNCEMENT

The board of directors (the “ Board ”) of Pacific Plywood Holdings Limited (the “Company” ) noted from the enforcement news of the Securities and Futures Commission that Mr. Ng Kwok Wing, a licensed representative of Phillip Securities (Hong Kong) Limited and Phillip Commodities (HK) Limited, had pleaded guilty to and was convicted of four counts of illegal short selling in the shares of the Company (the “ Incident ”).

The Board would like to draw the attention of the shareholders and potential investors of the Company to the fact that (i) the Board did not have any prior knowledge about the Incident; and (ii) Mr. Ng Kwok Wing does not have any relationships with any directors, senior management or substantial or controlling shareholders of the Company.
