Appointment of Chief Financial Officer

Walker Greenbank PLC (AIM: WGB), the luxury interior furnishings group whose brands include Sanderson, Morris & Co., Harlequin, Zoffany and Scion, announces the appointment of Mike Gant, a highly experienced finance executive, as the Company's Chief Financial Officer.

Mike joins Walker Greenbank from Britvic plc, the FTSE 250 soft drinks group, where he was finance director of the GB and International business units.

Alan Dix, who has held the position of Group Finance Director for the past nine years, will leave the Company at the end of April 2014 after completing a handover period.

Mike, a chartered management accountant with an MBA from Nottingham Business School, will become Walker Greenbank's Chief Financial Officer on 3 March 2014 and also join the Company's Board. He brings a depth of international financial experience gained primarily at brands-based companies in the food and drinks industry.

After a number of financial roles in the leisure sector, he joined the food manufacturer Geest plc in 2000 as divisional finance director before becoming group financial controller. In 2004, he joined Constellation Brands Inc, the global drinks group, where he worked in a number of financial and commercial development roles prior to joining Britvic plc in 2009.
