POSITIVE PROFIT ALERT

This announcement is made by the Company pursuant to Rule 13.09 of the Listing Rules.

The Board wishes to inform the Shareholders and potential investors that the Group is expected to record a profit for the year ended 31 December 2009 as compared to a loss for the year ended 31 December 2008.

Shareholders and potential investors are advised to exercise caution when dealing in the shares of the Company.

This announcement is made by China Star Investment Holdings Limited (the "Company", together with its subsidiaries as the "Group") pursuant to Rule 13.09 of the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (the "Listing Rules").

The board (the "Board") of directors (the "Directors") of the Company wishes to inform the shareholders of the Company (the "Shareholder") and potential investors that the Group is expected to record a profit for the year ended 31 December 2009 as compared to a loss for the year ended 31 December 2008. The expected profit is largely due to the gain on excess of acquirer's interest in fair value of an associate's identifiable net assets over cost of acquisition and the reversal of impairment loss on goodwill arising from the adjustment to the consideration for acquiring Rich Daily Group Limited in August 2008.

The Company is still in the process of finalising the audited financial statements of the Group for the year ended 31 December 2009. The information contained in this announcement is a preliminary assessment on the management accounts of the Group by the Board but has not been confirmed by the Company's auditors. The Company will announce the audited final results of the Group for the year ended 31 December 2009 on 26 April 2010.
