APPOINTMENT OF CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

The board of directors (the "Board") of Samsonite International S.A. (the "Company", together with its consolidated subsidiaries, the "Group") announces that Mr. Reza Taleghani ("Mr. Taleghani") has been appointed as the Chief Financial Officer of the Group with effect from November 26, 2018. Mr. Taleghani will be responsible for the Group's corporate finance, accounting, global investor relations, external reporting, financial planning and analysis, treasury functions, and merger and acquisitions. Mr. Taleghani will report to Mr. Kyle Gendreau, the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of the Company, who has acted as the interim Chief Financial Officer of the Group since May 31, 2018.

Mr. Taleghani, aged 46, has over 20 years' banking and finance experience. Prior to joining the Group, Mr. Taleghani acted as the president and chief financial officer of Brightstar Corp., responsible for the global financial operations as well as managing Brightstar Corp.'s financial services and device protection lines of business from 2015 to 2018. Prior to joining Brightstar Corp., Mr. Taleghani worked at J.P. Morgan, where he held various leadership roles in investment banking, commercial banking and asset management from 2009 to 2015. Beyond his banking experience, Mr. Taleghani also served as the president and chief executive officer of Sterling Airlines A/S in 2008. Mr. Taleghani holds a bachelor's degree in Organizational Behavior and Management from Brown University, Providence, Rhode Island, the United States (1994) and a J.D./M.B.A. from Villanova University, Pennsylvania, the United States (1997).

Following the appointment of Mr. Taleghani as the Chief Financial Officer of the Group, Mr. Kyle Gendreau ceased to act as the interim Chief Financial Officer of the Group with effect from November 26, 2018.
