Sampo's ownership in Nordea to 21.3 per cent

SAMPO PLC STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE 4 February 2011 at 3.20 pm Sampo's ownership in Nordea to 21.3 per cent Sampo plc (business code 01422113-3) has today increased its stake in Nordea Bank AB (publ) by 0.7 percentage points by buying 30 million shares in an auction organized by the Swedish state. 2,235 million Swedish crowns was paid for the shares. After the purchase, Sampo has 21.3 per cent of the shares in Nordea. Sampo owns 860,440,497 Nordea shares.
