ત્તિઓને વેગ આપવા માટે લોકડાઉન પ્રતિબંધો હળવા કર્યા છે. અલબત્ત જો કોરોના મહામારીની ત્રીજી લહેર આવે તો વીજ વપરાશ અને માંગ બંન્ને ઘટી શકે છે. ઓગસ્ટ મહિનામાં ર્વીજળીનો વપરાશ કોરોના પૂર્વે કરતા એક દિવસમાં સૌથી વીજળીની માંગ/ ઉંચા સ્તરે રહ્યો છે જે પ્રતિબંધોમાં પીક પાવર ડિમાન્ડ અથવા સૌથી વધુ છુટછાટ અને આર્થિક કામકાજમાં સપ્લાય ૧૯૬.૨૪ ગીગાવોટ રહી વૃદ્ધિને આભારી છે. દેશમાં ઓગસ્ટ છે જે વર્ષ પૂર્વેની તુલનાએ ૧૭.૧ ૨૦૨૦માં વીજ વપરાશ ૧૦૯.૨૧ ટકા વધારે છે. ઓગસ્ટ ૨૦૨૦માં અબજ યુનિટ અને વર્ષ ૨૦૧૯ના મહત્તમ વીજ માંગ ૧૭૬.૫૨ ગીગા વોટ રહી હતી. વીજ યુનિટ નોંધાયુ હતુ. ઓગસ્ટમાં વપરાશ વધવાની સાથે સાથે દેશમાં વીજ ઉત્પાદન અને વપરાશ બંનેમાં વીજળીનું ઉત્પાદન પણ વધી રહ્યુ છે. વૃદ્ધિ યથાવત્ રહી છે. રિકવરીમાં ઓગસ્ટમાં કુલ વીજ ઉત્પાદન વાર્ષિક તુલનાએ ૧૬.૧ ટકા વધ્યુ છે, જેમાં કોલસા આધારિત વીજ ઉત્પાદનમાં સંખ્યા ઘટયા પછી આર્થિક પ્રવૃ ૨૩.૭ ટકાની વૃદ્ધિ નોંધાઇ છે.

ફૂડ તેલમાં વૃદ્ધિ: કપાસ, કોટન, રબરના વાચદામાં સાર્વત્રિક ઘટાડો
