Salcef Group for the mobility of Rome on the occasion of the 2025 Jubilee

Roma, 23 August 2023 – Salcef Group S.p.A. informs that its subsidiary Salcef S.p.A. has been awarded the tender issued by ANAS (FS Italiane Group) for the construction of one of the major projects for the Jubilee of 2025 in Rome.

In particular, the project involves the burying of the current traffic circulation of Piazza Pia by extending the existing underground passage, which was built during the Jubilee works in 2000, by approximately 130 meters. Thanks to this intervention, a continuous pedestrian pathway will be created between the area in front of Castel Sant'Angelo and Via della Conciliazione, leading to a significant enhancement in the accessibility of a zone that is currently heavily affected by vehicular traffic.

Works have been already started and will finish by 23 December 2024. The amount of the contract is approximately 35 million euros.
