Saipem: nuovi contratti offshore per un valore di oltre 500 milioni di USD

San Donato Milanese (MI), 6 Febbraio 2020 – Saipem si è aggiudicata alcuni nuovi contratti EPCI in vari paesi del mondo per un valore complessivo di oltre 500 milioni di USD.

Il primo contratto EPCI è stato assegnato da Saudi Aramco in Arabia Saudita nell'ambito del Long Term Agreement in vigore fino al 2021. Lo scopo del lavoro comprende la progettazione, l'ingegneria, l'approvvigionamento, la costruzione e l'installazione offshore di una condotta in acciaio al carbonio sulla rete già presente intorno all'area di Ju'aymah e migliorie della relativa piattaforma.

Inoltre, in Africa occidentale, è stato assegnato a Saipem un contratto relativo agli sviluppi del campo di Cabaça e della fase 1 preliminare di Agogo da parte di Eni Angola S.p.A. Lo scopo del lavoro comprende l'EPCI di riser, flowlines, jumpers e l'installazione di un sistema di produzione sottomarina (SPS- Subsea Production System) in acque profonde comprese tra 400 e 600 metri che saranno realizzate con i mezzi Saipem FDS e Saipem 3000.

Nella stessa area, specificatamente in Guinea Equatoriale, Saipem ha inoltre sottoscritto un contratto con Noble Energy per l'installazione di un gasdotto offshore di 70 km che collega la piattaforma Alen alla Punta Europa sulla costa.

Altri contratti minori aggiudicati riguardano il decommissioning di infrastrutture esistenti sul campo Thistle nel Mare del Nord che sarà eseguito dalla Saipem 7000 e due contratti di trasporto e installazione offshore in Medio Oriente e nel Golfo del Messico.

Saipem: new offshore contracts worth over 500 million USD

San Donato Milanese (MI), February 6th, 2020 – Saipem has been awarded several EPCI contracts in various countries around the world worth over 500 million USD.

The first EPCI contract has been awarded by Saudi Aramco in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as part of the Long-Term Agreement in force until 2021. The scope of the offshore work encompasses the design, engineering, procurement, construction and installation of a 36" carbon steel pipeline onto the existing network around the Ju'aymah area and brownfield services at the associated offshore platform.

Furthermore, in West Africa, Saipem has been assigned a contract by Eni Angola S.p.A. related to Cabaça and Agogo Early Phase 1 developments. The scope of work includes the EPCI of risers, production flowlines, jumpers and the installation of a Subsea Production System (SPS) in water depths ranging between 400 and 600 m to be carried out by Saipem vessels FDS and Saipem 3000.

In the same region, specifically in Equatorial Guinea, Saipem has also signed a contract with Noble Energy for the offshore installation of a 70 km gas pipeline connecting the Alen Platform to Punta Europa on the coast.

Additional minor contracts awarded are related to the decommissioning of existing infrastructures located in the Thistle Field of the North Sea to be executed by the Saipem 7000 and two other offshore transportation and installation contracts in the Middle East and the Gulf of Mexico.
