Saipem: nuovi contratti nell'E&C Onshore per un valore complessivo di circa 800 milioni USD

San Donato Milanese (MI), 25 luglio 2018 – Saipem si è aggiudicata contratti E&C Onshore in Arabia Saudita, Serbia, Messico, Iraq e Nigeria, per un valore complessivo di circa 800 milioni USD.

Saipem si è aggiudicata un contratto in Arabia Saudita da parte di Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Saudi Aramco), compagnia petrolifera nazionale, per le attività di approvvigionamento e costruzione per il progetto "South Gas Compression Plant Pipelines" relativo allo sviluppo dell'impianto di gas di Haradh (HdGP), situato nell'est del paese. Tale progetto rientra nel programma Southern Area Energy Efficiency Program.

Lo scopo del lavoro riguarda la realizzazione di un sistema di condotte di vario diametro, per una lunghezza complessiva di oltre 700 km comprensivo di flowline, trunkline e linee di interconnessione, nonché delle facilities annesse per il trasporto di gas da diversi punti di raccolta e di distribuzione all'interno dell'impianto.

Un ulteriore contratto è stato assegnato da ExxonMobil Iraq Limited per il progetto DS6 di debottlenecking del giacimento di West Qurna, nell'area sud-orientale dell'Iraq. Il debottlenecking è il processo di ottimizzazione di un impianto per aumentarne la capacità complessiva. I lavori avranno una durata di 23 mesi e saranno eseguiti principalmente nel cantiere di fabbricazione di Rumahila, di proprietà Saipem.

Attraverso la partecipata Saimexicana, ha acquisito da Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex), compagnia petrolifera nazionale messicana, un contratto relativo a lavori nella raffineria "Miguel Hidalgo" situata a Tula de Hallende, che riguarderanno il riavvio di un impianto di idrodesolforazione di residui utilizzato per ridurre, in conformità con le normative ambientali, i livelli di zolfo nei prodotti derivanti dalla raffinazione di petrolio.

Inoltre, attraverso una JV con Chiyoda e Daewoo, di cui Saipem è leader, è stato acquisito un contratto da Nigeria LNG Limited per il FEED e la preparazione della proposta EPC per il progetto NLNG T7, in Nigeria, che prevede l'espansione dell'impianto di GNL esistente situato a Finima sull'isola Bonny.

Infine Saipem si è aggiudicata un contratto per servizi di ingegneria e acquisizione di permessi per la costruzione relativi alla posa di condotte per il trasporto del gas in Serbia.

Saipem: new Onshore E&C contracts worth approximately 800 million USD in total

San Donato Milanese (MI), July 25, 2018 – Saipem has been awarded Onshore E&C contracts in Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Mexico, Iraq and Nigeria worth approximately 800 million USD in total.

Saipem has been awarded a contract in Saudi Arabia by the national oil company Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Saudi Aramco) for procurement and construction in relation to the "South Gas Compression Plant Pipelines" project for the development of the Haradh gas plant (HdGP), located in the east of the country. The project comes under the Southern Area Energy Efficiency Program.

The scope of work encompasses the construction of a system of pipelines of various diameter, with an overall length of over 700 km, and includes flowlines, trunklines and transmission lines, as well as associated facilities for the transportation of gas from various points of storage and distribution inside the plant.

A further contract has been awarded by ExxonMobil Iraq Limited for the DS6 project for the debottlenecking of the West Qurna field, in the south east of Iraq. Debottlenecking is a process that optimises a plant in order to increase its overall capacity. The works will have a duration of 23 months and will mainly be executed in the Rumahila fabrication yard, owned by Saipem.

Through its subsidiary Saimexicana, Saipem has also been awarded a contract by Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex), the national Mexican oil company for works in the "Miguel Hidalgo" refinery located in Tula de Hallende. In compliance with environmental regulations, these works involve the restart of a hydrodesulphurizer of residues needed to reduce the levels of sulphur in products deriving from the refining of oil.

Furthermore, through a JV with Chiyoda and Daewoo, of which Saipem is leader, a FEED contract has been awarded by Nigeria LNG Limited, which also entails the preparation of the EPC proposal for the NLNG T7 in Nigeria, related to the expansion of the existing LNG plant situated in Finima on Bonny Island.

Finally, Saipem has been awarded a contract for engineering services and the acquisition of permits for construction work in relation to the laying of pipes for the transportation of the gas to Serbia.
