San Donato Milanese (MI), 16 agosto 2017 – Saipem si è aggiudicata un nuovo contratto nel segmento E&C onshore del valore di circa 850 milioni di USD, per le attività di ingegneria, approvvigionamento, costruzione e commissioning per il progetto "Feed Pipelines for New Refinery Project (NRP)" relativo allo sviluppo della nuova raffineria di Al Zour, situata nel sud del Kuwait.
Il contratto è stato assegnato da Kuwait Oil Company (KOC), società controllata dalla compagnia petrolifera nazionale del Paese del Golfo, la Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC).
Lo scopo del lavoro riguarda la realizzazione di un sistema di condotte di vario diametro, della lunghezza di circa 450 km, per il trasporto di petrolio greggio e di gas da diversi punti di raccolta e di distribuzione di KOC (KOC South Tank Farm manifolds) alla nuova raffineria di Al Zour. Il progetto comprende inoltre la realizzazione della rete di trasporto dei prodotti raffinati verso le aree di stoccaggio presenti nella raffineria di Mina Al Ahmadi, i quali saranno utilizzati anche per l'alimentazione della Northern Power Station di proprietà dell'Ente Ministeriale per l'acqua e l'elettricità.

San Donato Milanese (MI), August 16, 2017 – Saipem has been awarded a new contract in the onshore E&C sector worth approximately 850 million USD. Activities involve engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning for the "Feed Pipelines for New Refinery Project (NRP)" in relation to the development of the new Al Zour refinery located in the south of Kuwait.
The contract has been awarded by the Kuwait Oil Company (KOC), a subsidiary of the Gulf country's national oil company, the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC).
The scope of work comprises the construction of a system of pipelines of various diameter, approximately 450 km in length, for the transportation of crude oil and gas from various KOC South Tank Farm manifolds to the new Al Zour refinery. The project also includes the realisation of a network for the transportation of the refined products to the storage areas present in the refinery of Mina Al Ahmadi. These products will also be used to feed the Northern Power Station owned by the Ministerial body for water and electricity.
