San Donato Milanese, 27 luglio, 2016 – Saipem si è aggiudicata due nuovi contratti di Ingegneria e Costruzione per lavori onshore e offshore in Indonesia, relativi al Tangguh LNG Expansion Project. I contratti sono stati assegnati da BP Berau Ltd., in qualità di operatore del Tangguh LNG Project, per conto degli altri partner partecipanti al production sharing contract.
Il primo contratto riguarda l'ingegneria, l'approvvigionamento, la costruzione e l'installazione di strutture offshore - nello specifico due piattaforme non presidiate e condotte sottomarine. Saipem farà leva sulle sue forti competenze tecnologiche nella progettazione, fabbricazione ed installazione di piattaforme e condotte sottomarine. In linea con i requisiti di SKK Migas, l'autorità indonesiana competente per l'oil & gas upstream, Saipem contribuirà allo sviluppo delle comunità e realtà locali, avvalendosi anche della propria yard di fabbricazione situata sull'isola di Karimun.
Il secondo contratto comprende la costruzione di un impianto GNL onshore con una capacità di liquefazione di 3,8 milioni di tonnellate/anno, servizi ausiliari, un jetty GNL e relative infrastrutture. Il contratto è stato assegnato a CSTS, una joint operation guidata dall'EPC contractor indonesiano Tripatra insieme a Chiyoda, Saipem e Suluh Ardhi Engineering. Il completamento dei lavori è previsto per il 2020.

San Donato Milanese, July 27, 2016 - Saipem has been awarded two new E&C contracts for onshore and offshore work in Indonesia on the Tangguh LNG Expansion Project. The contracts were awarded by BP Berau Ltd., as Operator of the Tangguh LNG project, on behalf of the other production sharing contract parties.
The first award is for the engineering, procurement, construction and installation of offshore facilities, consisting of two unmanned platforms and subsea pipelines. Saipem will leverage its strong technological expertise in the design, fabrication and installation of platform and subsea pipelines. In accordance with the requirements of SKK Migas, Indonesia's upstream oil & gas regulator, Saipem will contribute to local content enhancement, including through its own Karimun fabrication yard.
The second contract for the construction of an onshore LNG process train with a liquefaction capacity of 3.8 million tons per annum, utilities, offsites, an LNG jetty and associated infrastructure, has been awarded to CSTS, a joint operation led by Indonesian EPC Contractor Tripatra with Chiyoda, Saipem and Suluh Ardhi Engineering. Completion of the projects is expected in 2020.
