San Donato Milanese (Milano), 26 maggio 2017 - Saipem informa che in data odierna il Consiglio di Amministrazione, in un'ottica deflattiva del contenzioso nonché di mera convenienza finanziaria, ha approvato la definizione delle controversie fiscali relative alle seguenti annualità:
Come più ampiamente descritto nella relazione finanziaria annuale, relativamente alle annualità 2008 e 2009 erano stati emessi nel luglio 2015 quattro avvisi di accertamento ai fini Ires ed Irap per circa 144 milioni di euro più interessi, poi ridotti dalla Commissione Tributaria di Milano nel gennaio 2017 a circa 125 milioni di euro più interessi, mentre relativamente alle annualità 2010 e 2011 nel mese di dicembre 2016 erano stati emessi quattro avvisi di accertamento ai fini Ires ed Irap per circa 119 milioni di euro più interessi.
La definizione delle controversie di cui sopra determinerà, complessivamente, la rilevazione in semestrale 2017 di oneri pari a circa 79 milioni di euro, non previsti nella guidance sul risultato netto reported dell'esercizio 2017; l'esborso di cassa sarà invece non superiore a quanto già previsto in sede di budget 2017, non determinando quindi variazione della guidance sull'indebitamento netto a fine 2017.
A seguito di quanto sopra, non sono attualmente in essere ulteriori contenziosi fiscali di ammontare significativo.
La Società ha ritenuto di definire le suddette controversie senza che ciò implichi alcun riconoscimento di responsabilità.

San Donato Milanese (Milan), May 26, 2017 – Today, Saipem's Board of Directors, with the only objective to de-risk litigations and pursue financial optimization, approved the settlement of tax disputes concerning the following:
As described in the Annual Report, in July 2015 four notices of assessment had been issued regarding IRES and IRAP for the years 2008 and 2009, amounting to approximately €144 million, plus interest, which in January 2017 were reduced by the Provincial Tax Commission in Milan to approximately €125 million, plus interest. Furthermore, in December 2016 four notices of assessment had been received regarding IRES and IRAP for the years 2010 and 2011, amounting to approximately €119 million, plus interest.
The settlement of the aforementioned tax disputes shall result in approximately €79 million of costs in 2017 Half Year results, not forecasted in 2017 guidance for net reported result. However, the cash outlay shall not exceed the amount already budgeted for 2017, therefore not impacting 2017 guidance for net debt.
As a result of the above, Saipem does not have significant tax disputes pending.
Saipem decided to settle the aforementioned tax disputes without recognition of liability whatsoever.
