SAGA TANKERS ASA: CORRECTION OF INFORMATION REGARDING ØYSTEIN STRAY SPETALENS SHAREHOLDING IN SAGA TANKERS

Reference is made to the stock exchange notice released by Saga Tankers ASA

("Saga Tankers" or the "Company") dated 4 June 2015. The notice stated that

Øystein Stray Spetalen's shareholding (directly and through associated

companies) in Saga Tankers is approximately 86%, not 77% as disclosed earlier.

The increase in Spetalen's shareholding was due to a share exchange agreement

between AS Ferncliff (a company whose ultimate beneficial shareholder is Øystein

Stray Spetalen) and the shareholders of Allum Holding AS not being entered into.

AS Ferncliff and the shareholders of Allum Holding AS has now entered into such

share exchange agreement. The agreement will be consummated shortly. Øystein

Stray Spetalen's (directly and through associated companies) shareholding in

Saga Tankers is therefore approximately 77%, as disclosed in the detailed stock

exchange notice dated 4 March 2015.
