Change of Auditor

Safestore announces that, in line with best practice, the Group audit was recently put out to tender and the Board has appointed Deloitte LLP as auditor.

The change of auditor follows a recommendation by the Audit Committee to the Board based on a formal tender process. The background for the tender of the audit contract is set out in the Audit Committee Report contained in the Company's Annual Report for the financial year ended 31 October 2013.

PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP ("PwC") has been the Group's auditor since 2003 and the Board would like to thank PwC for its years of service to the Company.
