Date of appointment of new CFO

Further to the announcement made on 30th January 2013 regarding directorate changes, Safestore announces that Andy Jones' appointment as Chief Financial Officer of the Company will commence on 7th May 2013. In order to ensure an orderly transition, Richard Hodsden will remain with the Company until 31st May 2013.

The Company confirms that there are no disclosures to be made pursuant to paragraph 9.6.13R (1)-(6) of the Listing Rules of the UK Listing Authority regarding the appointment of Andy Jones.
