SAF Tehnika Announces the Establishment of a Subsidiary in South America
JSC SAF Tehnika announces the establishment of its subsidiary, SAF LATAM S.A.S., in Colombia. SAF Tehnika owns 51% of the shares of the newly founded company.
The main task of SAF LATAM S.A.S. is to continue providing customers in the South America region with individually tailored and efficient wireless data transmission and sensor solutions. The company has been created based on a long-term partnership and is a logical step in further development, enabling business growth, ensuring stable and direct presence, and strengthening SAF Tehnika’s position in the region.
SAF Tehnika Board Member and Vice President Jānis Bergs says: “I am honored to officially welcome Vladimir Rojas and his exceptional team into the SAF Tehnika family. With this expansion, we’ll be supporting partners and customers across South America with high-reliability critical communication technologies and advanced IoT solutions, including Aranet PRO and SAF Tehnika microwave products.”
The head of SAF LATAM S.A.S., Vladimir Rojas, has 30 years of experience in designing, installing, and operating telecommunications networks in South America, including more than 15 years of experience representing SAF Tehnika in the South American market. During this time, a strong and knowledgeable team has been built, capable of providing robust support and personalized consulting to customers in the region. The new cooperation model will allow for more effective development of long-term partnerships and even better and faster service to customers and partners.
The establishment of the new company demonstrates SAF Tehnika’s commitment to strengthening its operations in the region and ensuring continued growth, innovation, and close cooperation with customers and partners throughout South America.
