THE SAUDI ARABIAN FERTILIZER COMPANY (SAFCO) ANNOUNCES ITS ANNUAL FINANCIAL RESULTS FOR THE PERIOD ENDING DEC. 31, 2010

The Saudi Arabian Fertilizer Company (SAFCO) announces its annual financial results for the period ending DEC. 31, 2010:

1.. Net income is SR (3235) million, compared to SR (1804) million for the previous year, an increase of (79%).

2. Earnings per share is SR (12.94), compared to SR (7.22) in the previous year.

3. Gross income is SR (2690) million, compared to SR (1710) million for the previous year, an increase of (57%).

4. Operating income is SR (2622) million, compared to SR (1658) million in the previous year, an increase of (58%).

5. The increased net income in annual year compared to the previous year is due to higher petrochemical prices, increase in sales volumes and the income from sale of Dammam land & buildings.
