Complement to previous press release regarding an order for an airborne surveillance system to defence and security company Saab.
As announced earlier today Saab has received an order for delivery of the Saab 2000 AEW&C (Airborne Early Warning & Control) system, which comprises of a Saab 2000 aircraft equipped with the advanced ERIEYE radar system. The contract also includes ground equipment as well as logistics and support services. The contract amounts to more than 4.5 billion SEK.
In addition to the previously communicated information today, Saab announces that the project will run for a period of approximately 4.5 years from the time the order was announced.
