Carina Brorman new Head of Group Communications at Saab

Carina Brorman has been appointed as new Senior Vice President and Head of Group Communications for the defence and security company Saab AB. She will be assuming the position on 1 October 2011 and will join the Group management.

Carina Broman is currently the Brand & Communication Director at E.ON Sverige. She is 52 and has an MBA.

"Carina Brorman is an experienced communicator with a background that includes journalism, communications and strategic branding. Her experience will play an important part in our efforts to clarify Saab and our global high-tech operations," says Håkan Buskhe, President and CEO of Saab.

"Saab is an exciting company with a wide range of operations. The defence and security industry has changed dramatically in recent years, and we are embarking on a fascinating journey with even more global operations," says Saab's incoming Head of Communications, Carina Brorman.

Carina Brorman has previously worked at SVT (Swedish Television) where she was head of SVT's southern unit, SVT Syd, with responsibility for the operations in Malmö and Växjö.
