TRADING HALT

The securities of S2 Resources Limited (the “Company”) will be placed in Trading Halt Session State at the request of the Company, pending the release of an announcement by the Company. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in Trading Halt Session State until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Wednesday, 27 July 2016 or when the announcement is released to the market.

S2 RESOURCES LIMITED (ASX CODE: S2R) - TRADING HALT REQUEST

S2 Resources Ltd (ASX: S2R, “Company”) requests that the securities of the Company be placed in trading halt from the commencement of trading on 25 July 2016.

For the purposes of ASX Listing Rule 17.1, and in support of its request, the Company advises that:

1. the trading halt is requested pending an announcement by the Company to the market in relation to a capital raising, namely a placement and an associated share purchase plan;

2. it requests that the trading halt remain in place until the earlier of the time it makes an announcement to the market about the results of the proposed placement and the commencement of normal trading on 27 July 2016; and

3. it is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted or any other information necessary to inform the market about the trading halt.
