Exercise and Sale of Options, Director/PDMR Shareholding and Total Voting Rights
Exercise and Sale of Options
S&U announces that it has today received notice of the exercise of options over ordinary shares of 12.5p in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") granted under the Company's 2010 Long Term Incentive Plan ("LTIP"). Anthony Coombs (Chairman), Christopher Redford (Group Finance Director) and one other non-PDMR employee have exercised options over 5,000, 2,500 and 4,000 Ordinary Shares respectively. Of these exercised options, 9,500 Ordinary Shares, in addition to another 2,500 owned by Christopher Redford, were sold in the market at an average price of £23.56 per share.
In total, 9,500 Ordinary Shares will be admitted to trading pursuant to an existing block listing and will rank pari pasu with existing Ordinary Shares.
Transfer of shares
S&U has also been informed today that Tina Redford, wife of Christopher Redford and a PCA, will be transferring 1,500 Ordinary Shares for nil consideration to Christopher Redford.
Following these transactions the beneficial shareholding of Anthony Coombs is 1,340,342 Ordinary Shares and of Christopher Redford is 16,000 Ordinary Shares.
Total Voting Rights
Following the issue of these Ordinary Shares, the total number of voting rights in S&U is 12,145,260. This figure should be used by shareholders and other parties subject to disclosure obligations as the denominator for the calculations by which they determine if they are required to notify their interest in or a change to their interest in the share capital of S&U under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency rules.
