HK BLDG & LOAN<00145> - Suspension of Trading At the request of The Hong Kong Building and Loan Agency Limited (the "Company"), trading in its shares has been suspended with effect from 9:30 a.m. today (14/5/2007) pending the release of a joint announcement in relation to, amongst other things, a possible unconditional mandatory cash offer for the shares of the Company.
