Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.

On April 8, 2009, we issued a press release updating our previous earnings guidance for the three months ended March 31, 2009. The Press Release is available on our website at www.ryder.com. The Press Release includes information regarding expected comparable earnings per share for the first quarter 2009, which is a non-GAAP financial measure as defined by SEC regulations. We believe that this non-GAAP financial measure provides useful information to investors, and allows for better year-over-year comparison, as the measure excludes from our GAAP earnings per share expected first quarter 2009 restructuring and other charges, which are unrelated to our ongoing business operations.
