   to sec. 21 para. 1 Securities Trading Act (WpHG) of the following:

The percentage of the voting rights of UBS AG in RWE AG exceeded the
threshold of 3% on 10 April 2014 and amounts to 3.10% of the voting rights
(17825436 voting rights) on that day. UBS AG holds 2.72% of the voting
rights (15636335 voting rights) directly; 0.38% of the voting rights
(2189101 voting rights) are attributable to UBS AG pursuant to sec. 22
para. 1 sent. 1 no. 1 WpHG

   to sec. 21 para. 1 Securities Trading Act (WpHG) of the following:

The percentage of the voting rights of UBS AG in RWE AG has fallen below
the threshold of 3% on 11 April 2014 and amounts to 2.99% of the voting
rights (17230272 voting rights) on that day. UBS AG holds 2.61% of the
voting rights (15034222 voting rights) directly; 0.38% of the voting rights
(2196050 voting rights) are attributable to UBS AG pursuant to sec. 22
para. 1 sent. 1 no. 1 WpHG
