has informed us pursuant to sec. 21 para. 1 Securities Trading Act (WpHG)
of the following:

The percentage of the voting rights of BlackRock Advisors Holdings, Inc. in
RWE AG has exceeded the threshold of 3 % on 24 October 2014 and amounts to
3.02 % of the voting rights (17,384,574 voting rights) on that day. 2.16 %
of the voting rights (12,438,422 voting rights) are attributable pursuant
to sec. 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 1 WpHG. 0.04 % of the voting rights (258,789
voting rights) are attributable pursuant to sec. 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 2
in connection with sent. 2 WpHG. 1.17 % of the voting rights (6,741,376
voting rights) are attributable pursuant to sec. 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 6
in connection with sent. 2 WpHG.
Please note that the total amount stated above does not necessarily equal
the sum of the detailed attributed holdings. This results from voting
