Subject: Northern Australian cattle properties settle and Olam Orchards Australia Pty Ltd (Olam) lease variation

Rural Funds Management Limited (RFM) as responsible entity and manager of the Rural Funds Group (RFF) is pleased to announce the completion of the acquisition of three cattle properties. The acquisitions, announced on 1 July 2016, were funded by the proceeds of an underwritten equity raising and an increase in debt facilities.

The three cattle properties comprise two breeding properties, (known as Mutton Hole and Oakland Park) near Normanton in Northern Queensland, and a finishing property (Rewan), near Rolleston in Central Queensland.

As part of the equity raising, RFM announced on 29 June 2016 an extension of 1,000 hectares to its existing lease on the Kerarbury property with Olam. Olam has confirmed that the final condition precedent to the lease variation which related to the Foreign Investment Review Board has been satisfied, and the lease variation is now unconditional.
