(b) On September 12, 2012, United Technologies Corporation (the “Company”) elected Marshall O. Larsen as a director of the Company, effective as of September 12, 2012. The Board appointed Mr. Larsen to the Finance Committee and the Public Issues Review Committee. A copy of the Company’s press release announcing the election of Mr. Larsen is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Form 8-K and incorporated herein by reference.
