RTG Mining Inc. (ASX: RTG) – Trading Halt

Description

The securities of RTG Mining Inc. (‘RTG’) will be placed in trading halt at the request of RTG, pending it releasing an announcement. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in trading halt until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Wednesday, 22 January 2020 or when the announcement is released to the market.

REQUEST FOR TRADING HALT

Dear Ms. Coupe

In accordance with ASX Listing Rule 17.1, RTG Mining Inc. (“RTG”, “the Company”) (TSX Code: RTG, ASX Code: RTG) hereby requests a trading halt from the commencement of trading on Monday, 20 January 2020 until the earlier of an announcement to the market or the commencement of trading on Wednesday, 22 January 2020.

In accordance with Listing Rule 17.1, I advise that:

• (a) RTG is seeking the trading halt in order to respond to queries to be received from the ASX and an article referencing the company executives published on Saturday, 18 January 2020;

• (b) The Company is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted or any other information necessary to inform the market about the trading halt or the activities of the Company.
