The following is a company announcement issued by RS2 Software p.l.c. pursuant to the Malta Financial Services Authority Listing Rules.

Following the Annual General Meeting held today, Raša Karapandža, residing at Dantestrasse 7, 65189 Wiesbaden, Germany, has been appointed as a non-executive director of the Company with immediate effect.

Prof. Raša Karapandža, PhD is a professor of finance at EBS Business School and visiting professor at New York University (NYU) at their Abu Dhabi campus. At EBS he serves as an academic director of Master in Finance program and head of Chair of Finance. He received a PhD degree in economics and finance from Barcelona Graduate School of Economics, University Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona. He has been a visiting research scholar at NYU New York and at University of California at Berkeley.

The general focus of Prof. Karapandža's research and teaching activities are investments, empirical asset pricing, portfolio management, Fintech as well as application and regulation of Blockchain technologies.

Prof. Karapandža's work has been featured in top media outlets like The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, and Der Spiegel. He advises members of the US congress on the topics of regulating cryptocurrencies and other blockchain related technologies.

He was elected favorite professor by the EBS business school's student body for his teaching many years in a row — in 2009 through 2018. What makes him really proud is that he was elected an honorary member of the EBS student-body association.

Currently at EBS Karapandža is teaching an undergraduate classes in Fintech and Investments, MBA class in Finance, Executive MBA course in Corporate finance and a graduate classes in Asset Pricing/Derivatives as well as Fintech class. At NYU AD Raša is teaching a Fintech class as well as NYU Stern course on Foundation of Financial Markets.

There are no matters to be disclosed regarding Prof. Raša Karapandža in terms of the Listing Rules.
